Spring Operated Brakes
Modular brake clutch system are protected to transfer the power of the movement speed in a very short term without loosing any power or to control the left out movement.

YBF (spring operated brake) series has a compact design. Spring operated brakes with two friction surfaces. By means of several pressure springs the brake friction is generated when no current is applied.
The brakes are electromagnetically released while braking. The rotor which is axially movable on the hub is pressed against the counter friction face by means of the springs via the armature plate.
In case of braking an air gap Slü occurs between the armature plate and the stator. To release the brake the coil of the stator is exited by means of DC current. The resulting magnetic flux causes the armature plate to be pulled towards the stator. Thus, motor is released. The brake torque can be reduced via the adjuster nut.
YBF brake systems has an special electronical circuit which can switch 4 times per second sensitively. This number varies depending on the size of brakes. There are no magnetic fields on body now so, there are no danger for braking delays.
Assembly:

-
Appropriate brake cover attach to the engine.
-
Fit the gear on the engine shaft with key and ring.
-
Gear is fixed with the appropriate wedge.
-
Applications without cooling, pistons rings or gear is blocked out.
-
Lining navel attach to the gear.
-
Brake body is fixed to the engine brake cover with fixing screw.

To adjust the air gap between stator body and armature, turn the adjustment tube to the counter clock side during the fixing operation.
-
Check the air gap (Slü) again.
-
Montage operation, engine cooling fan have to fit the extention shaft to fix engine shaft with fixing screw.
